BeamLight Foundation Team visited two schools (Veritas College, Oregun and Lolad Schools, Magodo) both located in Lagos, Nigeria on 14th March 2018 to inspire the students. Joy Obehi-Ayemhere (President, BeamLight Foundation) spoke on Making a Fresh Start Through the Power of Choice. She encouraged the students to exercise their power of choice wisely by making the right decision to stay focused on their academic pursuit. She reiterated that “planning to make a plan is not a plan.” In other word, plans should be back by appropriate action steps.
Also, Mr. Emnanuel Ogbuotobo challenged the students to be result driven by following what he tagged “The Ten Commandments of Academic Success”. These include: paying good attention to lessons, constant reading, developing the right attitude/mindset to learning etc.
