BeamLight Foundation seminar held on September 4th, 2015 was successful. The seminar was tagged “Staying Pure in a Morally Perverse Society”. The seminar purposely designed for Preteens and teens had over one hundred and twenty eight (128) of them in participation.

Mr. Lolu Mogaji (the main speaker) at the event encouraged participants to stay pure because it will help them fulfill their lives purposes. He also exposed the side-effects of doing otherwise.

The talk show segment of the event was anchored by Mrs. Joy Obehi-Ayemhere. Members of the panel included: Mr. Emmanuel Ogbuotobo, Mrs. Opeyemi Arowolo, Mr. Benjamin Lartey and Ms. Joy Solomon. Issues relating to the theme and how it affects Preteens and teens were discussed. It was really an engaging session.

The Question and Answer (Q &A) segment which held immediately after the lunch break was equally very compelling. Participants were divided along gender line and age group. They had the opportunity of asking the various facilitators age & gender-related questions.

The event for the day was wrapped up with a film (titled “The Young Believers”). The film stressed the need for teenagers and indeed young people, to stay committed to a positive course.
